Both of her parents are alive but are extremely poor. They got divorced because they were always quarreling and this was all about being poor but both still live in the same village. They never had enough money for school fees for Lillian. Her parents had a friend who connected them to Another Hope. Lillian is now attending school with the help of this ministry.
