Background: |
Her mother was raped and left pregnant with her. Her mother lived and was supported by her mother (Ruth?s grandmother). When her grandmother died, her mother was left with no way to care for her. Ruth?s mother took her to a friends place and had her friend watch her while she went out looking for a job. However her mother never came back and was left with the friend, who was also not able to care for her. But this friend knew about to work of Another Hope Children?s Ministry and brought Ruth to live there in the spring of 2008. She has been able to attend school with the financial help of Another Hope and is currently in primary 1 during 2008 and is showing to have very good grades.
