Her parents lived in a small village. Her mother divorced her father
and went looking for work in Kampala and found a job as a housemaid.
She stayed with her father and step-mother. Her step-mother made her
dig all day and didn’t allow her to go to school consistently. Her
mother was eventually able to go back to her village with the help of
her boss and get Jacky and Allan her son and bring them to Another
Hope. Jacky is very bright and will be going into P2 for 2008-2009.
