His parents lived in a small village. His mother divorced his father and went looking for work in Kampala and found a job as a housemaid. Allan stayed with his father and step-mother. He lacked proper feeding when he was young, and his step-mother abusively mistreated him, causing him to become mentally and physically handicapped. His mother was eventually able to go back to his village with the help of her boss and get Allan and her daughter Jacky and bring them to Another Hope Children's Misitries. Allan has already been showing a lot of progress and much happiness, especially when he plays football outside with the other children. |
